Julia is Eight!
Julia's birthday was a long and eventful one.
We started out by picking up Dan at the airport. That was her first and best present. Since we were in the area, we decided to go to Rain Forest Cafe for lunch.
What fun! Julia loved it all, but the chocolate volcano was one of the best parts.
After lunch we went to see Prince Caspian. Julia has been planning that since the first time she saw the previews.
When we got home, we had the neighbors over for cake and ice cream. We bought the cake at Costco. Julia called it her "Death" cake, also known as "Death by Chocolate."
Thank you, Aunt Leslie for the Polly Pockets.
She'll be able to put them in her backpack for the trip.
Happy Birthday, Julia.
Love you sooooooo much!

you are very welcome for those Polly's my Julia. They fit perfectly in a washed frosting can, for travel, if you have one handy. I am glad that you had a wonderful birthday and that you got to do so many great things. Talk about enormous, that cake at the restaurant is enormous. Were you able to eat it all?
happy birthday love muffin!!! I can't believe you're 8 already! xoxo and yummm that cake looks YUMMY!!!!
Julia, you had a "terrific" birthday filled with lots to do. Having Daddy there must be the best present!! I'm also curious as to how many people does it take to eat the chocolate volcano from the cafe? I can't believe you had MORE chocolate cake at home too!! Your face in all the pictures shows me that you had a wonderful day. We're glad. We can't wait to see you.
I can't wait to see you guys!!!! xoxo
