You Capture: Love around your home

This challenge was interesting.
I spent a lot of time wandering around my house wondering what "things"  I really loved.
I have a lot of stuff, maybe too much stuff, but the things that truly make me smile are these people.

All four of them!  Love them all.

I also happen to love these portraits that I had done of them a couple of years ago by an amazing artist.
(It's only the angle of the picture that makes one child look bigger than the other.)

Another great love... my books!

My piano!
I don't play, but my children do and they do it well.
I love hearing them practice or just goof around on it.

And again... the kids.
I love the look of concentration on her face as she begins her painting.

I also really love my husband...

Check out everyone else's great shots here.

I love what you picked, and I know I would have a hard time choosing too. There are so many things we're attached to.

The "you capture" sounds like a lovely challenge, I'll keep it in mind.

Thanks, everybody!! I wish I could point you to the artist's website, but he doesn't have one. However, if anyone is in the Maryland area in August, he should be working at the Montgomery County fair. His name is Jay.

I love the sound of the piano, wish I could play. You're very fortunate that your children can play.

Nice pictures, and great things to love :) Also like how you worded in your "About you", that you and your camera see things differently, and occasionally agree - cute and so very true with cameras!! Great work.

Those portraits are AMAZING!! What a beautiful idea.

And your piano makes me wish I had one so bad. I used to play as a teenager and I want to start again... Love the photo too!

Those portraits are fantastic! I love that they're drawn, and not painted. They have wonderful spirit to them. =)

Great drawings of your kids! Your book shots turned out great - looks like we have some things in common, books, piano, kid art - all faves at our house.

Hey Colleen, I just participated in my first "You Capture" too!! I was just checking out some of the links, and when I saw the name "Colleen" I clicked on it and wondered if it was my friend Colleen! And it was you! :) It made me smile. I love your pics!!
