Macro Monday Spring

I just love how cheery this daffodil looks after the rain.

This picture was taken with my little point and shoot.
I've tried getting a similar picture with my big camera, but just can't get the same angle.
I've often whined about my point and shoot and I'm thrilled to have the new camera,
but the POS served me well and I got lots of great shots out of it.

Awww... I'm feeling sentimental.

More macros for your enjoyment at Lisa's Chaos.

P.S.  I'm on a bit of a vacation, so I'll try to respond everyone's comments,
but I may be a little slow, so please bear with me.

Now be nice to you POS camera! They serve us very well. I have 2 of them myself but, I love the challenge of the DSLR cameras, especially. This daffodil is quite majestic standing so tall and strong...beautiful capture.

That's a really nice shot!

I love my point and shoot, too. I can fit it into a pocket, a handbag, or just clip the case onto my jeans belt loop with a caribener, which means I can get pretty good pictures wherever I go, without having to carry a heavy DSLR with me. :)

Nice capture!
Some of the pictures I took with the smaller camera I cannot take with the DSLR. That's a pity, but I'm getting over it, the pictures are so much better!

You know, sometimes I miss my little point and shoot. I think it got me a lot closer than my Nikon DX40 can.

Sunshine yellow bursts with beauty here. Hey, it's often the photographer behind the camera, not the actual camera. This is a great shot!

Beautiful shot...not quite there yet in my neck of the woods but we're heading in that direction. Happy Easter!

It aint' the camera Colleen, it's the eye of the artist. This is a wonderful portrait of a daffodil. It feels just right to me.

The water droplets on it are so clear and perfectly displayed. Magnificent capture, Colleen! You've got the eye!

I saw the rain too. I like to look for the unexpected in your photos.
