Oddly disturbing...

Oh... I have so many, many photos to share from my wonderful Maine vacation,
but the one that's been haunting me is this photo taken on our last day during our quick trip to Boston.

There are just so many things wrong here.

The casual pose of the clown on the bench as he partakes in a conversation with a rather normal looking guy.

The incredible scariness of the clown face and wig.
Seriously... that's the stuff of nightmares and horror movies!

And then there's the guy busily creating a caricature.
Of whom?  I don't know.
Honestly, I don't know if I'm disappointed or grateful that he's not drawing the clown.
Can you imagine that picture?!
Scary!

I agree that it looks scary, Colleen. I can't imagine anyone wanting to sit on the bench with him/her.

I think I might be happier if he was drawing the clown...at least then there would be purpose. Yeah - weird shot.

CREEPY! My brother in law has a phobia of clowns (there's a name for it that I totally forget) and he'd be freaking out at this sight!!! We leave today to visit friends in Boston and then head to the Cape- what creepy sites might I see in Beantown??!!!!

Hope all is well with you welcome back from vacationland- you know I'm still talking to anyone who will listen about how cool it was to meet you all!!!!!! XOXO

love it...i just started a series on my photo blog called 'standing out in the crowd' for these photos...it's funny how people get your attention, esp when you're photographing...something we wouldn't normally see. nice vacation...i've been buried at home in my photos.

lol - scary indeed. I've been meaning to tell you I love your new banner pic! So cool! By the way have you ever told me what camera you have? I'm asking Santa for the big one this year. I have a lot of Canon friends and a few diehard Nikon lovers. What's your take?

And is that purple balloon-creature just floating in mid-air back there?

I don't remember if I told you already, but I absolutely adore your new header.

Clowns creep me the F out. Seriously! I hate clowns with a passion. I won't even go there (via your blog) as to why, but next time I email you maybe I'll let you know...
