I really hadn't intended to put up so many "warmer weather" themed posts this week.
I don't want to seem like I'm whining.
I don't want to seem like I'm whining.
To be honest, while I wouldn't mind some warmer weather,
I'd also be quite happy with snow.
Just a few inches please.
I figure, if it's got to be cold, there should be some sort of reward for it.
And snow would reward me in the form of kids who actually want to go out and play
and maybe a few pretty pictures for me.But, here I am taking pictures of our summer souvenirs.
(I have never been able to spell that word correctly! I have to look it up every single time.)
And it's nice to think about the beach.
My thoughts are constantly circling back to our wonderful vacation in Maine
and looking forward to our trip across America this coming summer.
(We're very excited.)
And I wonder if the shells will make it through the move intact.
And if the movers will think it odd that we're moving 300 pounds of rocks and shells.
Maybe I'll pick up a few more while we're on the road.
I don't suppose I'll find very many shells to pick up as souvenirs as we trek across North Dakota,
but maybe I'll find a good rock or two?

I love those sand dollars. I'm sorry to say, I'm not even THINKING about summer because I don't want to be back in the middle of 100 degree Texas weather. Winter's good for me...and I would take some snow too!
Ok. Just amazing. Now I have a suggestion for you... put those wonderful photos into a collage and sell it on etsy. I'd buy it! :D
Oh how I love those. Reminds me of home & how much I miss it.
Beautifully composed images. The light, depth of field, and tones are all wonderful. SO good to see this time of year when the earth is covered in snow & ice.
I love the way you've stacked the sand dollars...the softness of the colors...may your journey offer you many small stones and happy memories.
I love the first picture - I actually thought it was a cinnamon roll at first! Maybe wishful thinking on my part. :)
Beautiful pictures!
What beautiful souveniers - crud - I don't think I spelled it right either.... By all means, you MUST move them. They are part of your memories. Just pack them with extra tissues. They will make it just fine!
I love your sand dollar photos - just beautiful! It snowed here last night, but yesterday (before the snow) it was all the way up to 50-degrees and made me want some spring weather! :-)
Beautiful souvenirs and photos. I agree with Winn that you should make a collage and sell it on Etsy.
What great shots! I love the stack of sand dollars, it reminds me of pancakes.
