Project 64 and 365: Week 3

Oh, yeah...
How's that for a "creative" title?

Sometimes it just is what it is.

Of all the pictures that I took this week in an attempt to match this week's color, chestnut,
none came as close as this orangutan that I photographed a few weeks ago.

Women pay big bucks to get that color hair!

My week was pretty quiet.
We spent much of the time indoors attempting to get over our colds.
We played games, drank tea, found a little dinosaur to love,
captured the teensy bit of snow that fell,
dreamed of summer,
and did some plumbing.

It was a very January kind of week.

Yes, I DO want orangutan hair. :D

"January kind of week." That definitely sums it up. Aruba now, if you please! (Yes, I need a very warm vacation ... anywhere really.)

Agh, I just had a long drawn out comment, and lost it!

Let's just sum it up by saying I love everything about your week!

Great shot! And thanks for the tip about the light scoop...I'll check it out.

BTW, that shell picture still makes me want a cinnamon roll. Maybe I just need to go out and get one!

Great shots! I don't have exactly the color hair of the orangutan but I have women ask what color I use on my hair all the time. It is much to their dismay when I tell them I am a natural red head. I guess the freckles and pale complexion aren't enough for them? :)

Hope everyone is feeling better!

Blessings,

You know, now that you mention it, his hair looks very much like Olivia's hair on General Hospital. Bahahaha.

Thanks for the laugh. Great picture and great interpretation of the challenge. I agree - anything goes and I love this.

I LOVE your collage - great inspiration! With everything grey and gloomy outside, sometimes I forget to see the little things around me. Gorgeous job! :-)

The orangutan has fabulous hair - the color and thickness are gorgeous. Yes, people would pay to have hair like that.

I was staring and staring... is that a shell? or cinnamon rolls or what? hmm, I held off commenting until I got updated and lo and behold!!! A post with lots of shells! So it's a shell says detective TJ.

Your week sounds close to mine except that we got over our colds the week before and did not get to have a battle with Draino in the bathroom ;)

Yes, you're right, women do pay a lot for that color! However, I don't because I have a color stylist in the form of a daughter-in-law. COLOR me lucky and blessed.

I am looking at this on my phone (and have to scroll down) and at first I thought that was a head of human hair! Nope! :) hope you all feel better and warmer soon!

Ha! Next time I go get my hair colored, I'll tell them I want it just like an orangutan's.
