When all the world is brown and gray...

You need to get a direct infusion of Spring.

So here's your little shot in the arm...

Now... don't be confused,
it isn't Spring here yet.
Not even close!

I took these pictures at the National Botanical Garden's conservatory.

A wonderfully large building full of light, warmth and colorful flowers.  
It also had fascinating things like kumquats, papayas, coconuts, cacao pods, and banana flowers 
(which are amazing huge things, but I couldn't get a single shot of them.)

And if you ever get the chance to visit the Conservatory in DC,
make sure you take time to smell the...
big metal flowers?
