Last year this time, we were buried beneath three feet of snow.
This year, we're enjoying a beautiful "false" spring.
I know that the weather won't last.
In fact, tomorrow should be twenty degrees colder than it was today,
but we've loved every moment of it.
The kids got a chance to play in the yard
(it was terribly muddy, but they couldn't be stopped!)
The girls rode horses without needing the extra gloves and coats.
And, just for today, I broke out my flip-flops.
(It was 73 degrees!!)
Tomorrow they will get put away and I can't really say when I'll get to wear them again.
I've heard rumors of snow flurries on Tuesday!
PS... It's my son's 14th birthday and I've been busy preparing and will be busy playing all day,
so if I don't get a chance to respond to everyone's comments,
I just want to say thank you and I hope to catch up with you on Sunday!
