I had a birthday yesterday.
A big one, I suppose.
Over the last year or so, I've wondered how I was going to celebrate the big day.
I never could come up with a great plan, so I just took the day as it came.
And it turned out to be a wonderful day.
One of the best parts of the day was simply going about my life spending time with so many great friends.
It's kind of what I've been doing everyday since we've moved back,
but I still find those moments precious.
I am beyond glad to have an amazing group of friends and neighbors to share my life with.
So my day was pretty special.
Oh... and it hailed.

I start reading this post...Oh Hail(to acclaim or approve enthusiastically)and thought that is what you were doing in regards to your birthday. Then, the pictures blew me away! I got caught up in them. Finished reading and with the last line I realized it did hail and you have captured some of it in the pics. After I read through a second time, I caught that maybe you weren't really approving enthusiastically, you were just saying "Oh Hail(Hell)!, I'm forty... Am I right?
Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you!!! Big ones like that you should celebrate and milk out all the year long! Think of all the presents...!!!!!
