I have so many blog post ideas running around in my head that it's hard to keep up.
Fortunately, with Macro Monday being a specific date and topic, this one was easy for me to whip up!
On New Year's Day we went to Great Falls National Park.
Although the major attraction there is the waterfall,
it also provided me with many macro photo ops.
Now, you'll have to forgive me for not being able to tell you exactly what these subjects are.
I haven't taken the time to look them up and to learn more about them,
mostly I just said, "Oooooh, pretty!"
Like this little bit of moss which was slightly smaller than the size of a dime.
A shot of the same moss, just further out.
These fungi were lined up in nice neat little rows on many of the parks fallen logs.
Who knew you could find so many fun guys out in the park?
Do you like the lichen?
(Oh, dear.... I must be tired. That was just too lame!)

There wasn't much green to be found on that cold winter's day,
but this fern seems to have retained it's color.
See the world in a whole new way at Lisa's Macro Mondays.
