You capture: Reaching

The You Capture theme for this week is "Reaching."

Hula hooping wasn't always easy for this little girl,
but she set goals to make it 10 times around, then 30, then 50, then 100!
Now she has reached and surpassed all of those goals and makes hula hooping look easy.

If only I could keep that dang hula hoop going!
So here she is... reaching her goal!

We made our version of Shamrock shakes for St. Patrick's day.
It was pretty simple really, just mint chocolate chip ice cream and some milk!
Everyone seemed to like the shakes.

Reaching for that last little bit of minty goodness.
And....

Following through on a theme that I inadvertently started earlier this week
in this post on Monday and this one on Tuesday,
here is day 3 of the buds on the tree in our backyard.
Again... it's amazing what can happen in just one day!

... when you are reaching for the sun.

Very pretty reaching for the sun. And congrats to your girl about the hula hoop. It's a lot harder than it looks!

Again UM JEALOUS of your spring buds. Everything is still in the early stage. Although my mother in law had some flowers pop up. She has light a neon green thumb though so I'm not surprised. LOVED the picture. Very pretty.

Hula hooping is hard man. Congrats to your daughter for mastering that thing. :)

And I would have reached for more shamrock shake, too. yum!

Julia, HIP, HIP, Hooray!! C, I guess I would be reaching for some money to buy a camera so I could be a part of You Capture. Seems like a lot of fun

I'm impressed! I tried to hoola recently, it seems I've forgotten how. Guess that comes with age, lol. Maybe I just need a mint shake to help bring it back. :)

Love how your girl folds her arms to keep them out of the way. She looks so proud of herself. Wow, your last shot is gorgeous! I'm so jealous of the hint of green in your background. Still snow here and weeks until we see any green.
