Looking for Comfort

Dear Claritin,

I'm breaking up with you

It's not that I don't love you, but you see...
these pollen pellets disguised as pretty flowers
are kickin' my butt!
Despite all of your efforts
(and I know that you've tried to comfort me)
I still feel like someone is shoving tiny feathers up my nose.

And that makes me sneezy
and a little grumpy too.

So I've found myself something a little stronger,
something that will comfort my itchy eyes

 that makes me happy,
and maybe a little sleepy.
But that's okay.
Sleep's not so bad.
I could curl up in my comfy chair
with my cozy quilt.
(Made by my totally awesome and super crafty sister.)
or...
If I get really sleepy,
there's always my comfortable bed

But, could someone tell me where I can find some of those house cleaning squirrels?
It's hard to clean house when you're sleeping.

Very cute. I need a house cleaning squirrel too. :) Hope your allergies get better!

Beautiful cherry blossom. It's too bad it's the season again for allergies.

Aaaah, house cleaning squirrels? If you find them, will you let me borrow them please?

This is too funny! I have the same issues, so I feel your pain. I hope you get some much needed relief soon!

Creative! Oh and don't break up with your clairitn. Get Clairitn D 24 hours. Makes you feel 100% without the drowsy effect. Does benadryl make you cold? It so makes me cold. Weird, eh?

Oh and where are those dang squirrels? I could use ALL the extra help cleaning/packing/organizing my home.

GREAT (no no) FANTASTIC JOB @ your captures. What a fun post!

That is hysterical. Well, not the part about you being uncomfortable but really the rest is hysterical. What a great post.

Oh hon, I feel for you. I used to have severe fall allergies during harvest time where I grew up and I just wanted to die! Even going outside for a walk was miserable and yes the drugs make it worse. Hoping this passes for you soon! Nevertheless, great shots!

ugh, allergies.

I take both claritin AND allegra, and that combination seems to be they key for me.

I hope you start to feeling better :)

brilliant post! Love the blossoms ~ even if they don't agree with you! Not too much blossom out here ~ a week or so maybe :D

I go with a combo of benadryl and sudafed myself ;)

Great shots! Sorry about your allergies. My husband has them too. :( He is taking Alavert and it seems to work ok, but could be better. Hope you find relief soon!

This is a great post - I'm still smiling. I'm ready for a nap now even though I've only been up a couple hours.

claritin NEVER worked for me- ever. it's always wonderful when you find the right medicine for your sinuses... now i use a neti pot, but when i was taking sinus meds, it was sudafed all the way.

This post? Awesome. And the photos are even better. I love, love, love the pretty flowers. I hate how they make me feel, though.

Great post. Claritin works for me but only after years of allergy shots. And Benadryl puts me to sleep...all day! It's good for bedtime though!
