Winter's Butterflies

Did you read my last post?

I had intended for it to be my You Capture "Outside" post.

I had captured a few of these Winter Rainbows

And I may have mentioned that we hadn't had any snow yet,
but still quoted my high school friend, Kim,
who said,
"Snowflakes are winter's butterflies."

Well... look what we got today...

 Butterflies!!!

Now... I'm wondering...

if you eat winter butterflies do you... well....

just watch the clip... you'll get what I mean.

Wow...those winter rainbows are really something! Never seen the light react like that in frost before :)

Like that quote, too! We're getting hit with a bunch of snow here too and it's showing no signs of letting up anytime soon. Butterflies are raining down like locusts! Beware! lol

gorgeous rainbow and as for the butterfly question...wouldn't that be interesting...especially if the tried to escape as you got off the seat!

Nice! I love how the color of her coat pops out at you. And the first shot is really unique.
