yellow green

I'm quite excited about this new photo challenge that I found today.
It's called Project 64: Out of the Box

Here's their explanation of the project:

"Each week we will be assigned a color, chosen at random from a box of 64 count crayola crayons. We will then take our color inspiration and search for it in the world around us! You'd be surprised by the colors you miss when your not looking! The goal of the project is to challenge us creatively, making us think outside the box, and to hopefully slow down a little bit and notice the world around us!"

You see, I had been thinking about doing a series of shots with "color" as the theme.
(It's that dull time of year and I desperately needed more color in my life.)

But these people took that idea and went one step further and better,
so I am more than happy to jump on the bandwagon with them.

And I love my Yellow Green photo!

It's just a bottle of face wash that I held up in front of the window and let the sun shine through.

I can't wait to create a collage at the end of the project with all of the colors of the crayon box.
I think it will be great!

Reminds me of Spring. The only color here is white right now.

A ray of sunshine adds va-va-voom to anything! It certainly does to your yellow-green shot. :D
