A Halloween Sneak Peek

We did a quick test run on Julia's costume this morning.

Last Halloween she had already decided that she wanted to Mary Poppins this year.

The umbrella was one we owned.
I did a quick crocheted scarf.  
(It really is easier than knitting, Alita.)  ;)

And the skirt was a thrift store find.  
(We totally got lucky on that one!)
We're still short a carpet bag, but that will be borrowed from a friend.

This turned out great. Even the shoes are a good choice. I like the photo of her "flying".

That is the best costume ever. I love seeing girls in costumes like that vs. skanky looking pop stars.

gorgeous gorgeous!!! :) Now she needs some dancing penguins.

Hmmmmm the crochet looks VERY nice. Maybe I'll try to learn that instead. How did you learn? By teacher or by book?
