I have all sorts of water photos in my archives,
really good ones too,
but the purpose of You Capture is "to get you inspired to pick up your camera."
I don't know that I need much inspiration,
but having a theme or a goal is helpful.
So this week's theme is "water."
On my back deck is a large container that some call a hot tub,
but since it's leaky and useless to humans,
it's become a really large bird bath.
Birds come from all over to take part in this spa experience.
When they do, I like to sneak a shot or two.
Just call me a birdie peeping tom.
Peering up over the edge, I saw these two ladies splashing about in the hot tub.
Lady Cardinal seemed to be enjoying herself a bit more than Lady Sparrow.
Lady Sparrow didn't want to cause a scene, but really...
could Lady C splash a little less?
Hmph!
Splish, splash.
Splish, splash!
Seriously, C! What part of 'stop splashing' don't you get?
Well, fine... if you're going to be that way about it...
I'll just come back later!

these are awesome...the female cardinal is one of my favorites.
